How to Nearly Instantly Publish Your Own Audio Cd or DVD

Yesterday internet marketing blogger James Brausch posted an offer to buy a cd he recently produced on the subject of time management. But it’s not the cd that interests me (although I did buy it.) It’s the distribution method he is using.

He’s selling the cd through Kunaki.com, which apparently prints, seals, processes payments, and ships any audio cd or DVD of your design. All for just a few dollars.

This is a fascinating concept that could be used in a lot of ways. I’m going to start by using it to sell an audio seminar to my mystery shopping list. I could also use it to send out as a free bonus to new customers, or as part of a monthly audio series, or even as a sales pitch.

Think about it: A good quality information product might sell for$100-$500. Spending $2 to send a dvd or a cd to a prospect could be an extremely effective way to build value, and convert solid leads into solid cash.

Another possible use could be as a prize in a contest. In fact, I think I’m going to do that too. I’ll produce an audio cd, and give it to the first twenty people on my mystery shopping list who submit a 500 word article about mystery shopping. This could be a great way to build content for an extremely low price. From their perspective, they’d be getting a cd worth $17. From my perspective, I would be getting high quality articles for $2. A fair trade!

The exciting thing about this is the extreme ease with which you can publish one of these cds, and the extremely low cost to do so. It takes such little effort, there is no reason to not give it a try!
